The double room is elegant and fabulous. the breakfasts are delicious and wonderful with baroque music. Its location is stunning, very close to Slipstream Sculpture.

fairly quiet and elegant room, it had an electronic key card, a multi-channel television, and a writing desk.

Very good service and a very nice restaurant, available onsite. Free and large breakfast with a great selection of delightful foods...

Nothing special views from the window.

    The beautiful building and location.

The car access barrier entry system remote from the main building. We rang the recepetion buzzer four times over a five minute period and never had any reply. We only got through the barrier because finally another car was exiting! It was stressful having to'jump' the barrier and not suitable for a 4 star hotel. The reception member of staff did not apologise and simply said he was 'on the phone' and couldnt answer the buzzer. This seems quite unacceptable as an entry system. It beggared belief that he couldnt see/respond to the buzzer while on the phone at the same time.He did not apologise or give any indication that he was concerned for our inconvenience and remained unsmiling throughout.A poor welcome to a lovely place, what a let down.

only one criticism. One night in the piazza restaurant their were only two staff waiting , it was very full, waited over 1 hour to get a sweet. In the end gave up, poor management,

The castle and staff were wonderful. The spa was very nice as well. My husband and I never left the hotel because there were so many things to do at the castle.

This place is top-notch, perfectly situated with an amazing view of the village below, definitely worth the money.

The hilltop location of this medieval castle is superb with magnificent views over the adjacent valley and the mountains beyond. The bedroom was comfortable and the breakfast excellent.

The attitude of the staff was somewhat dismissive particularly when informing us on arrival that the main gourmet restaurant would be out of bounds as it had been reserved for "conference" attendees. Due to the remote location of the hotel we had no alternative but to eat at the onsite pizzeria. This was most disappointing as we had planned to spend a romatic evening dining in the spledid surroundings of the castle itself after reading the glowing website description.

The room is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and offers stunning views.

    Beautiful location

Room that showed on the website did not match the one we were given and the bathroom was extremely filthy. The hotel staff did not believe this until we printed out the picture from the website. After that they changed our room. Website did not state that the pool cost 18 euros per person per use and that parking was free as long as you were willing to walk up the mountain. This hotel is for people with too much money and not enough sense. If you want to see the castle stay down at the town for cheaper and walk up.
